So what better time to post Halloween photos, right?!
On average, my life seems to run anywhere from 3-6 months behind schedule these days, so based on that {sad} fact, this is, indeed, the proper time to {finally} get through photos from Halloween!
We had a {semi} theme this year. As one friend called it...
"Golfing in the Land of Oz"
As expected, Noah was anti-costume because as I learned several years ago, "he's just not that kind of a person" when it comes to looking "silly" in a costume. And so he made plans over the summer to be Tiger Woods for Halloween this year. Not wanting to burst his bubble, I went along with his plan and simply asked him what he planned to wear for a costume. One day before he left for the golf course, he emerged wearing shorts, a white golf shirt, and a red Nike ball cap. He simply said, "See mom, this is what I mean when I say I will dress up like Tiger for Halloween."
It wasn't until Halloween drew nearer that Emily stated the obvious and asked Noah if he planned to paint his body black. With that, the realization set in and he decided to change his plan to be a "white golfer" instead.
And so he went as Ricky Fowler! I tried to get him to wear a wig, but as expected, he didn't go for that! But he was super excited to wear his "real golf" clothing as a "costume"!
And the girls indulged my love of a theme and went as The Wizard of Oz characters (as requested by them!)

Emily as the sweetest, freckled-faced Dorothy ever...
Molly as Glinda, the Good Witch, who adored her fluffy costume made by her mama, but ditched her crown because it was too heavy...
Abby as the adorable brown eyed Scarecrow who wiped most of her make up off before the trick or treating began...
Dressed and ready, the kids were ready to get started!
The first house had a puppy which completely distracted Abby from the task at hand!
We trick-or-treated with friends from school/church this year. The kids thought this was amazingly fun and had a great time running from house to house while the adults tried to keep up!
We had a great time and the kids gathered an obscene amount of candy. Ibribed challenged them to consider giving up some of their candy in exchange for a surprise. They obliged and we donated the excess candy to a shelter and everyone got a surprise "treat" that contained NO sugar instead!

{All Saints Day}
My bible study group hosted an All Saints Day party for our kids this year. The kids all dressed as saints and enjoyed a saint themed party with saintly food and games. After the party, they got to sit up front at Mass and Father had them process out at the end of Mass to greet everyone as they exited Mass. It was super cute!
